I just had a few cavities filled by Dr. James Row, an awesome DMD in Hillsboro, and decided to record myself reading The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.  Hope everyone gets a laugh!

Testing Windows Live Writer

Just downloaded the Windows Live Writer and wanted to take it for a spin.  I need enough text to make this look interesting…  Moved to Portland almost a year ago to date and couldn’t be happier with the decision.  As a self-proclaimed recovering workaholic, Portland has opened up doors to social situations that I had long forgotten.  During my copious spare time, I’ve taken to snowboarding, surfing, running, and socializing…  With the exception of surfing – a sport I’ve only recently discovered – I used to engage myself as much as I could in these activities.  What happened to the social life I used to have?  Why did I $#@% up so much along the way?

It’s cool.  In fact, it’s better than cool.  I’ve left a trail of accomplishments a mile long, made several lifelong friends, and picked up a new hobby.  Feels like things have just gotten started, and I can only capture my excitement using the words of a new friend: “I’M STOKED”!
